Just wanted to let you know that the other guy in the pictures
with me, Dwain
Bever April 19th and 20th, is Curtis Whitby. Also, Joe is "The MAN,"
the
first morning we arrived to fish, Joe shows up at Harry's limping badly. His
wife Peggy had came along to help him just so two hillbillys from Virginia
can go out to catch a fish or 10. Joe had to get up from the table that
morning to go outside because the pain in his foot was making him sick. I
offered to postpone the trip until a later date but he was not going to have
anything to do with that. I have fished with several guides in different
parts of the US but have never fished with anyone that enjoy seeing someone
catch a fish like Joe. This makes the second year that "Bubba," and I
have
fished with Joe and we are planning trip three for next year. He loves to
see people catch fish! We were lucky on the first day of the trip that Peggy
had came along because for one she is "a good luck charm," and she
also gave
Joe some kind of pill that had him ready to go dancing by the time we got
back to Harry's. The second day of the trip was incredible, at on time we
had a 15, 20, and 28 lbr laying on the deck of the boat because no one had
time between fish to put them in the cooler. These fish were in four feet of
water that Joe had decided to "try" that morning while we were
catching bait.
By far the highlight of the trip though, was Peggy and Joe came back over
to Harry's on the first night for a catfish fry like none other in this
world.
Joe had downloaded the pictures from the first day and forgot the camera at
the house for the second. I took a few pictures but have not had them
developed yet. When I get them I will pas them along.
Also wanted to let you know that Joe talked a lot about the day out with you,
your dad and family. He had fun.
Thanks,
Dwain Bever
